The PT6461C is a member of the PT6460 Excalibur series of integrated switching regulators from Texas Instruments. It is a non-isolated point-of-load (PoL) module that operates from a 5V input bus (4.5V to 5.5V range) and delivers a nominal 3.3V output at up to 14A. The module achieves typical efficiency of 94% and minimum efficiency of 90% over the operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
Key features include output remote sense, on/off inhibit (negative logic), pre-bias start-up capability, short circuit protection, and over-current protection.
