The PT4506A is a member of the PT4500 series of isolated DC/DC converters from Texas Instruments. It delivers a regulated 1.5V output at 5A for a total power of 7.5W.
Input voltage range is 18V to 40V. The module offers 1500VDC input-to-output isolation. Line regulation is typically ±0.2%, load regulation is 13mV typical for outputs ≤3.3V. Set point voltage tolerance is ±1% typical.
Features include remote on/off control, differential remote sense, short circuit protection, and over temperature shutdown. The module is housed in a 12-SIP package with through-hole right-angle mounting. MTBF is 4×10^6 hours.
