The PT4495C from Texas Instruments is a booster module designed to complement the PT4472 Excalibur™ DC/DC converter. It provides an additional 30A of output current, enabling higher power configurations.
This module operates with an input voltage range of 18V to 36V and supports a programmable output voltage from 1.3V to 3.5V. It boasts a high efficiency of 89% and features essential protection mechanisms including over-current, over-temperature, and over-voltage protection. The PT4495C also includes an On/Off inhibit function and differential remote sense for improved system integration.
Designed for surface mount applications, the PT4495C is suitable for systems requiring increased output current capabilities. Its solderable copper case ensures reliable mounting.
For additional output current, the PT4472 can be operated with up to two PT4495 compatible booster modules, with each PT4495 adding an additional 30A of output current capability.
