The Mitsubishi Electric PSS10S72FT is a transfer-molded DIPIPM designed for small power inverter applications. It features a high voltage rating of 1200V (V CES) and a continuous collector current of 10A (I C).
This DIPIPM integrates a High Voltage IC (HVIC) for the P-side, providing high voltage high-speed level shifting and control supply under-voltage (UV) protection. For the N-side, it includes a drive circuit with control supply under-voltage protection (UV) and short circuit protection (SC) capabilities, which are detected using an external shunt resistor.
Fault signaling is provided for SC faults (N-side IGBT) and UV faults (N-side supply). Temperature monitoring is available through an analog signal output of the LVIC temperature, though it does not have self over-temperature protection. The input interface supports 3.3V and 5V logic levels with a Schmitt trigger receiver circuit (High Active).
