For the N-side, it also incorporates short circuit protection (SC) by detecting external shunt resistor voltage. Fault signaling is provided for SC and UV faults, and temperature monitoring is available via an analog output of the LVIC temperature. The input interface supports 3.3V and 5V lines with Schmitt trigger receiver circuits (High Active).

With a Collector-Emitter Voltage (VCES) of 600V and a continuous Collector Current (IC) of 50A, the PS21A79 is rated for a maximum junction temperature of 150°C. It offers an isolation voltage of 2500Vrms. The module operates within a case temperature range of -20°C to 100°C and has a storage temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
