The Mitsubishi Electric PS21267-P is a transfer-mold, insulated type intelligent power module (IPM) designed for three-phase DC-to-AC power conversion. It is suitable for AC100V to 200V three-phase inverter drives in small power motor control applications.
This IPM integrates drive, protection, and system control functions. It includes drive circuits for both upper and lower-leg IGBTs, high-voltage high-speed level shifting, and control supply under-voltage (UV) protection. For the lower-leg IGBTs, it also provides short circuit protection (SC) and fault signaling (Fo) corresponding to SC or UV faults.
The input interface is 3.3V and 5V line compatible with high active logic. The module utilizes a Dual-In-Line Package (DIP) with through-hole mounting. The short circuit protection function is achieved by sensing the L-side DC-Bus current through an external shunt resistor, with a recommended RC time constant of 1.5 to 2.0µs for filtering.
UL approval is noted with Yellow Card No. E80276. The terminals are plated with Pb-free solder.
