The Brady PS-500-2-BK-S is a PermaSleeve B-342 heat shrink sleeve marker made from irradiated polyolefin tubing with a 3:1 shrink ratio. It is supplied with a 0.5 inch inside diameter and a 2 inch length, shrinking to fit wire diameters from 0.187 to 0.450 inches (4.75 to 11.43 mm).

 

This sleeve marker is qualified to SAE AS23053/5 (Class 4) and meets mark permanence standards AS-81531 and AS-5942 when printed with specified Brady thermal transfer ribbons. It is suitable for wire identification and insulation in demanding environments.

 

The operating temperature range is -55°C to +135°C, with a minimum recovery temperature of 150°C. The black color version has a flame spread index of 0 per ASTM E162 and a specific optical density of smoke of 92 per ASTM E662 (flaming mode at 1.5 min).
