The PRTR5V0U4D is an ultra low capacitance quadruple rail-to-rail ESD protection device in an SOT457 (SC-74) small SMD plastic package. It is designed to protect four high-speed data lines or high-frequency signal lines from the damage caused by ESD and other transients.
Key specifications include a maximum input voltage of 5.5V, ultra low input/output to ground capacitance of 1 pF typical, and ESD protection up to 8 kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2. The device also features a supply pin capacitance of 40 pF and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
Applications include USB 2.0 interfaces, DVI, HDMI, mobile phones, digital cameras, WAN/LAN systems, PCs, notebooks, printers, and other PC peripherals. The integrated additional ESD protection diode ensures signal line protection even when no supply voltage is available.
The device is surface mount with gull wing leads in the SOT457 (SC-74) package. It is RoHS3 compliant (unverified), MSL 1 unlimited (unverified), and REACH unaffected (unverified).
