The Panduit PNF18-6R-M is a ring terminal designed for 18 to 22 AWG copper wire. It has a #6 stud size, which corresponds to M3.5 metric. The terminal is fully insulated with a red nylon housing and features a tin-plated copper contact for reliable conductivity. The crimp termination uses a serrated barrel to ensure secure wire retention.
This terminal is UL Listed and CSA Certified for use up to 600V maximum voltage (1000V in signs, fixtures, and luminaires) and an operating temperature of 105°C (221°F). It accepts wire insulation diameters from 1.78 mm to 3.45 mm with a strip length of 5.6 mm. The overall dimensions are 19.56 mm length, 6.35 mm width, and 0.81 mm barrel thickness.
The PNF18-6R-M is intended for free hanging, in-line mounting and uses a crimp termination method. It is a three-piece construction consisting of a copper stamping, nylon insulation, and a brass sleeve. This terminal is also available as a military cross-reference part MS25036-102 for Class 1 and 2 applications.
Proper crimping tools and die sets should be used per manufacturer recommendations to achieve the specified mechanical and electrical performance.
