The Panduit PN18-8R-M is a ring terminal designed for 18-22 AWG solid or stranded copper wire. It features a circular terminal type with a #8 (M4) stud size and crimp termination. The terminal is insulated with a red nylon housing and includes a brass sleeve, tin-plated for corrosion resistance. The contact is made from tin-plated copper.
Electrical ratings: 600V maximum for building wire applications and 1000V maximum for signs, fixtures, and luminaires. Maximum operating temperature is 105°C. The terminal is free hanging (in-line) mounting and requires a wire strip length of 5.6mm (0.219in) with tolerance +0.8/-0 mm.
Dimensions: overall length 21.84mm (0.860in), width 7.87mm (0.310in), and thickness 0.81mm (0.032in). The terminal is UL listed (E52164) and CSA certified (LR31212). It is also known under military part number MS25036-149, Class 1 & 2.
Installation requires Panduit approved crimp tools such as CT-100A, CT-400, or CT-600-A with appropriate die sets. The terminal is suitable for building wire, control panels, and industrial equipment where reliable ring connections are needed.
