PLED13Q12 is part of the Littelfuse PLED series of open LED protectors designed to provide a shunt path when an LED in a string fails open, ensuring the remaining LEDs continue to function. The device automatically resets after a power cycle and features fast switching.

 

Electrical specifications include a minimum breakdown voltage of 13V, maximum standoff voltage of 26V, holding current of 5 mA minimum, switching current of 100 mA minimum, trigger current of 1 A maximum, and on-state voltage of 1.2 V at 1 A. The critical rate of rise of voltage (dV/dt) is 250 V/µs. Operating junction temperature range is -40 to +150°C, and storage temperature range is -65 to +150°C.
