The PKM50W-1400-55-TD is a 50W constant current Class 2 LED driver from ERP Power, part of the PKM series. It operates from 120 or 277 VAC input and delivers a programmable constant current output up to 1.4A with an output voltage range of 10 to 55 Vdc. The driver features analog 0-10V dimming with a 1% to 100% dimming range.
Electrical characteristics include up to 90% typical efficiency, less than 20% total harmonic distortion, and greater than 0.9 power factor. Standby power consumption is only 1.4 W at 120/240 Vac and 1.7 W at 277 Vac. Startup time is 300 ms typical. The driver provides surge protection of 2 kV line-to-line and line-to-earth per IEC61000-4-5, plus 2.5 kV ring wave per ANSI/IEEE C62.41.
Protection features include overcurrent (OCP), overtemperature (OTP), and short-circuit (SCP) protection. The driver is cUL, UL, Class 2, DLC, and CA Title 24 compliant, suitable for commercial and residential lighting applications. Operating temperature range is -20°C to 50°C with a maximum case hot spot temperature of 90°C.
Packaged in a metal case with terminal block connections, the driver measures 106.5mm x 60.3mm x 25.5mm (L x W x H). Mounting is chassis mount (inferred). Output current is programmable via audio jack, and the driver supports linear, non-linear, and logarithmic dimming profiles.
