This device supports 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet standards and offers a bandwidth of greater than 650 MHz. Key electrical specifications include a low bit-to-bit skew of 200 ps and very low crosstalk of -75dB at 250MHz. The operating voltage range is from +3.0V to +3.6V, with an on-state resistance of 6.5 Ohms.

 

Enhanced ESD protection is provided on A, B, C, and LED pins, rated at 8kV contact, 1kV machine model, and 11kV human body model. The PI3L720ZHEX also features a power-down mode for standby operation. Its propagation delay is less than 250 ps.

 

The PI3L720ZHEX is supplied in a 42-contact TQFN package measuring 3.5 x 9mm with a 0.5mm pitch. It is suitable for surface mounting and is designed for applications such as routing signals for 10/100/1000 Mbit Ethernet and enabling dual physical layer device sharing.
