The KEMET PHE850EA4470MA03R17 is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor intended for use as an interference suppressor in Y2 (line-to-earth) applications. It is rated for 300 VAC (50/60 Hz) with ENEC, UL, and cUL approvals and a recommended DC voltage of 1250 V.
Key electrical specifications include a capacitance of 4700 pF with ±20% tolerance, dissipation factor of ≤0.2% at 1 kHz, ≤0.3% at 10 kHz, and ≤0.6% at 100 kHz. Insulation resistance is ≥30,000 MΩ for capacitance ≤0.33 µF. The capacitor undergoes a 100% factory test at 5000 VDC and 2500 VAC.
