The KEMET PHE844RD6100MR06L2 is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor designed for EMI suppression in across-the-line applications requiring X1 safety classification. It features a capacitance of 0.1 µF with a tolerance of ±20% and is rated for 440 VAC (ENEC) and 480 VAC (UL, cUL) operation, with a DC voltage rating of 1000V. The capacitor is self-healing and meets the climatic category 40/105/56/B per IEC 60068-1.
The PHE844 series is constructed with metallized polypropylene film encapsulated in a self-extinguishing resin meeting UL 94 V-0 requirements. It offers THB Grade IA reliability under 40°C, 93% RH for 500 hours at 480 V. The component is housed in a radial package with a lead spacing of 22.5 mm and PC pin terminations, making it suitable for through-hole mounting on PCBs. Dimensions are 26 mm length, 8 mm width, and 16 mm height.
This capacitor is RoHS compliant with lead-free terminations and is 100% factory tested at 3000 VDC. It is ideal for use in power supplies, motor drives, and other equipment where interference suppression is required.
