The PHE450MD6220JR06L2 is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor from KEMET’s PHE450 series. It offers a capacitance of 0.22 µF with a ±5% tolerance and a DC voltage rating of 630 V. The capacitor is designed for high frequency and switching applications, providing pulse and DC transient suppression.
This capacitor features a radial leaded package with a lead spacing of 22.5 mm. The overall dimensions are 26.0 mm length, 9.0 mm width, and 18.5 mm height. It is equipped with PC pin terminations and is suitable for through-hole mounting. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 105°C.
The dielectric material is polypropylene (PP) with double metallized polyester film electrodes, encapsulated in a self-extinguishing resin box meeting UL 94 V-0. The part is RoHS compliant and lead-free. Note: This series is not for new designs and has been replaced by the R76 series.
