This KEMET PHE426 series capacitor is a metallized polypropylene film capacitor with a capacitance of 0.47 µF, rated voltage of 250 V DC, and a tolerance of ±5%. The dielectric is polypropylene with vacuum evaporated aluminum electrodes, encapsulated in a self-extinguishing thermosetting resin meeting UL 94 V-0 requirements. It is a radial through-hole component with PC pin terminations and a lead spacing of 15.00 mm.
The capacitor is designed for pulse operation in switched-mode power supplies, televisions, monitors, and electronic ballasts, as well as other high-frequency applications demanding stable operation. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and has a climatic category of 55/105/56 per IEC 60068-1. The component is self-healing and features lead-free terminations. Note: KEMET has replaced this series with the R75 series.
