The ERP Power PHB30W-0500-42 is a high-performance programmable constant current LED driver from the PHB series. It delivers up to 21W of output power with a programmable output current range of 250mA to 500mA and an output voltage range of 28V to 42V (nominal 37.8V). The driver operates from an input voltage of 120Vac to 277Vac and achieves up to 89% typical efficiency at maximum load.
This driver features Tri-Mode Dimming™ supporting forward-phase (TRIAC), reverse-phase (ELV), and 0-10V dimming methods with a dimming range of 1% to 100%. It includes programmable dimming profiles and conduction angles for TRIAC and ELV. The driver meets IEEE 1789-2015 flicker recommendations and has a total harmonic distortion of less than 20% with a power factor greater than 0.9 at maximum load.
The PHB30W-0500-42 is housed in a compact module with side leads measuring 103.5mm x 26.2mm x 23.85mm. It features an IP20-rated case with silicone-based potting and a maximum case temperature of 90°C. The driver has a typical lifetime of 50,000 hours at a case temperature of 75°C or less. It is certified to UL8750 Class P/Class 2 and complies with ENERGY STAR, DLC, CA Title 24, and NEMA SSL-1-2016 standards.
