The TDK-Lambda PH600S280-48 is a high-density isolated DC-DC converter module from the PH-S series. It delivers a single regulated 48V output at 12.5A, providing 600W of power from a nominal 280V input (200-400V range). The module features output voltage adjustment from 43.2V to 52.8V, enabling fine-tuning for specific load requirements.
Key electrical specifications include line regulation of 0.4% or 20mV, load regulation of 0.8% or 40mV, and ripple and noise of 480mV pk-pk. Protection features include overvoltage (125-145%), overload (105-140% with automatic recovery), and thermal protection with internal sensing. Remote on/off (active low) and remote sensing are supported, and the PH600S model allows parallel operation with external circuitry.
Housed in a compact through-hole module, the dimensions are 86.0mm x 41.0mm x 12.7mm (3.85" x 1.61" x 0.50"). Cooling can be achieved via conduction or forced air. The operating baseplate temperature range is -20°C to +85°C (up to 100°C for PH300/PH600 models). The converter is safety certified to UL60950-1, CSA60950-1, EN60950-1, and carries CE marking.
