The TDK-Lambda PH300F280-12 is a high-density isolated DC-DC converter from the PH-F series, delivering 300W of output power. It provides a nominal 12V output with an adjustable range of 4.8V to 14.4V, and a continuous output current of 25A. The converter operates from a nominal 280V input with an input voltage range of 200V to 400V, making it suitable for applications with wide input variations.
Key electrical specifications include line regulation of 0.4% or 20mV and load regulation of 0.8% or 40mV, whichever is greater. Ripple and noise is limited to 280mV peak-to-peak. The converter features remote on/off (active low), remote sensing, parallel operation capability, overvoltage protection (125% to 145%), and overload protection (105% to 140% with automatic recovery). An auxiliary 8V 10mA bias supply is provided for interface circuits.
The PH300F280-12 is packaged in a through-hole module measuring 146.0mm x 86.0mm x 12.7mm (5.75" x 3.39" x 0.50"). It is designed for conduction or forced air cooling, with an operating baseplate temperature range of -20°C to +85°C. Safety approvals include UL60950-1, CSA60950-1, EN60950-1, and CE Mark, with 3000VAC input-to-output isolation and 2500VAC input-to-baseplate isolation.
