The PESD5V0X1UALD from NXP Semiconductors is an ultra low capacitance unidirectional ESD protection diode. It is engineered to safeguard a single signal line against damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transient events. This device features a very low diode capacitance of 1.55 pF, making it suitable for high-speed data lines.
Key electrical characteristics include an ESD protection capability of up to 15 kV per IEC 61000-4-2 level 4, a low clamping voltage of 9 V, and an ultra-low leakage current of 1 nA. The reverse standoff voltage is rated at 5.5 V.
The PESD5V0X1UALD is housed in a SOD882D leadless ultra-small Surface-Mounted Device (SMD) plastic package, measuring 1 mm x 0.6 mm x 0.4 mm with a package height of approximately 0.37 mm. It features solderable side pads for reliable mounting.
