The PESD5V0F1BSF is a bidirectional ESD protection diode from Nexperia, designed to protect one signal line from electrostatic discharge and other transient events. Its extremely low diode capacitance of 0.25 pF typical minimizes signal degradation, making it ideal for high-speed data lines.
The device provides robust ESD protection up to ±10 kV contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2, and 10 kV per MIL-STD-883. The reverse standoff voltage is 5 V maximum, and the peak pulse power is 28 W for an 8/20 µs waveform. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C.
The diode is housed in an ultra-small DSN0603-2 (SOD962) leadless SMD package with a 0.4 mm pitch and body dimensions of 0.6 x 0.3 x 0.3 mm. This package is suitable for space-constrained applications in portable electronics, communication systems, and computer peripherals.
