PE43205B-Z

The PE43205B-Z from pSemi is a 50Ω, HaRP™ technology-enhanced, fast-switching 2-bit RF Digital Step Attenuator (DSA). It is designed for use in 3G/4G wireless infrastructure and other high-performance RF applications.

This DSA covers an 18 dB attenuation range in 6 dB and 12 dB steps, operating from 35 MHz through 6 GHz. Key electrical specifications include a typical insertion loss of 0.50 dB at 35 MHz–2 GHz, an attenuation error as low as 0.10 dB at 2 GHz, and a high linearity with +61 dBm IIP3 at 1950 MHz. It features a fast switching time of 29 ns.

The PE43205B-Z operates with a wide supply voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V and is compatible with 1.8V control logic. It has an extended operating temperature range up to 105°C. The device is manufactured on pSemi’s UltraCMOS® process, a variation of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology.

It is offered in a 12-lead 3x3 mm QFN package with an exposed pad. No external blocking capacitors are required if 0 VDC is present on the RF ports. ESD performance includes 2 kV HBM, 100V MM, and 1 kV CDM on all pins.
