The PDSE1-S5-S5-M is a surface-mount isolated DC-DC converter module from CUI Inc.'s PDSE1-M series. It delivers 1W of output power with a nominal 5V output at up to 200mA from a 5V input (4.5V to 5.5V range). The converter features 1500Vdc input-to-output isolation and continuous short circuit protection.
With a typical efficiency of 82%, the module operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 105°C with derating. Maximum ripple and noise is 75 mVp-p. The unregulated output is suitable for applications where load regulation is not critical.
The converter is housed in a compact 8-SMD module with 5 leads, measuring 13.2mm x 8.5mm x 7.3mm. It is designed for surface mount assembly and is compliant with RoHS3 and REACH (unverified). The module is approved to CB Scheme, EN, and IEC standards including UL 62368-1.
