The PDS560-13 is a 60V, 5A Schottky barrier rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, designed for high-efficiency rectification in power supplies and polarity protection. It features a low forward voltage drop of 0.60V at 25°C, reducing power loss.
With a maximum reverse leakage current of 150µA at 25°C and a high forward surge current capability of 150A (8.3ms half sine-wave), this diode is suitable for applications requiring robust transient handling. The fast recovery time of 500ns supports high-frequency operation.
The device is housed in a PowerDI5 surface-mount package, which offers excellent thermal performance with a junction-to-soldering point thermal resistance of 2.0°C/W. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen-free, and qualified to AEC-Q101 for automotive reliability. Typical applications include freewheeling diodes, switching diodes, and polarity protection in automotive and industrial systems.
