The PDS5100-13 is a high-voltage Schottky barrier rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, designed for applications requiring low forward voltage drop and fast switching. It has a maximum average rectified current of 5 A and a maximum reverse voltage of 100 V. The forward voltage is typically 790 mV at 5 A, and the device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 120 A.
This rectifier is housed in a surface-mount PowerDI 5 package, which is molded with a green compound and has a matte tin annealed finish over a copper leadframe. It is rated for a junction operating temperature range of -65°C to +150°C and a storage temperature range of -65°C to +175°C. The thermal resistance from junction to soldering point is 2.6 °C/W, and the typical junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is 90 °C/W.
