The PDS3200-13 is a high voltage Schottky barrier rectifier designed for efficient rectification in power conversion applications. It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 200V and an average rectified output current of 3A. The forward voltage drop is typically 780 mV at 3A, contributing to low power dissipation. The device offers a fast reverse recovery time of 500 ns maximum, enabling high-frequency operation. Non-repetitive peak forward surge current is rated at 180A for an 8.3 ms half sine wave.
The rectifier is housed in a PowerDI 5 surface mount package, which features a molded plastic green compound rated UL94V-0. The terminals have a matte tin annealed over copper leadframe finish for excellent solderability. Package weight is approximately 0.096 grams. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 150°C, with a maximum thermal resistance junction-to-soldering point of 2.0°C/W and typical junction-to-ambient of 75°C/W.
Typical applications include high frequency rectification, switch-mode power supplies, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits. The device is RoHS compliant and halogen-free, qualified to meet green requirements.
