The PDS1045-13 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed for low voltage, high frequency applications. It has a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 45V and an average rectified output current of 10A. The forward voltage drop is typically 510 mV at 10A, enabling efficient operation. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 275A (8.3ms single half sine-wave).
This rectifier is suitable for use in low voltage, high frequency inverters, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits. It is categorized as a fast recovery diode with recovery time ≤500ns at >200mA. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +150°C, with a storage temperature range of the same.
Housed in a PowerDI 5 surface mount package, the device weighs approximately 0.096 grams and uses a green molding compound with UL flammability rating 94V-0. Terminals are matte tin annealed over copper leadframe, solderable per MIL-STD-202, Method 208. The package is rated moisture sensitivity level 1 per J-STD-020.
The PDS1045-13 is qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for high reliability, making it suitable for automotive applications. It is RoHS compliant, halogen- and antimony-free, and has a lead-free finish.
