The PD3S0230-7 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode designed by Diodes Incorporated for low forward voltage applications. Key electrical specifications include a maximum reverse voltage of 30V, a continuous forward current of 200mA, and a maximum forward voltage of 0.485V at 100mA and 25°C. The reverse leakage current is limited to 2.0µA at 25°C, and the reverse recovery time is 5ns, enabling fast switching.
This diode features a PN junction guard ring for transient and ESD protection, low forward voltage drop, and fast switching capability. It is totally lead-free, RoHS compliant, and halogen and antimony free, meeting green device standards.
The device is housed in an ultra-small PowerDI323 surface mount package weighing only 0.005 grams. The package material is UL 94V-0 rated, and moisture sensitivity is Level 1 per J-STD-020. The terminals have a matte tin annealed finish over a copper leadframe, solderable per MIL-STD-202, Method 208.
Typical applications include polarity protection diodes, recirculating diodes, and general switching diodes in low-voltage, low-power circuits. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 125°C.
