The PCT2075TP,147 from NXP Semiconductors is a digital, local temperature sensor designed for precise temperature monitoring. It features an I2C-bus Fast-mode Plus interface, allowing communication with a controller.
This sensor offers an accuracy of ±1°C over the -25°C to +100°C range and a wider operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The temperature register stores an 11-bit two’s complement data, providing a temperature resolution of 0.125°C. It includes an open-drain output (OS) that becomes active when programmed temperature limits are exceeded, operating in either comparator or interrupt mode.
The device can be configured for normal operation or a shut-down mode to minimize power consumption. It is supplied in an 8-HWSON (2x3) package and is suitable for surface mount applications. The supply voltage range is from 2.7V to 5.5V, with a typical supply current of 125 uA.
