The Samtec PCIE-164-02-F-D-TH is a PCI Express edge card socket designed for high-speed data transmission. It features 164 positions arranged in two rows with a 1.00mm pitch, supporting up to 16 PCI Express lanes. The connector is through-hole mounted and uses staggered solder tails for reliable termination.
The socket is rated for PCIe 3.0 compatibility and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. Electrical ratings include 2.4A per pin (2 pins powered) and 215 VAC. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with gold flash plating (3µin) on the mating area and matte tin on the tails. The insulator is black nylon as specified for the through-hole (-TH) option in the PCIE series.
Packaging is tray by default, with tape and reel options available. The connector includes a board guide feature for alignment during assembly.
