The PCI9056-BA66BI from Avago Technologies is a high-performance 32-bit PCI Bus Mastering I/O Accelerator designed for embedded applications. It supports 66MHz operation on both the PCI bus and a generic local bus, enabling flexible connectivity with processors, DSPs, memories, and custom ASICs.
Key features include 32-bit, 66MHz PCI r2.2 compliance and local bus operation. The device provides 2 DMA channels for efficient data transfers, supporting block and scatter/gather operations. It also includes a PCI arbiter capable of managing up to 7 external masters and supports I2O r1.5 messaging.
