The Texas Instruments PCI4510RGVF is a two-port PHY/Link-Layer Controller for integrated 1394a-2000 OHCI applications. It is fully interoperable with FireWire and i.LINK implementations of IEEE Std 1394.
This controller is compliant with PC Card Standard 8.0, Intel Mobile Power Guideline, and PCI Bus Power Management Interface Specification 2000 1.1. It supports full IEEE Std 1394a-2000 features including arbitration, acceleration, and multispeed concatenation. The device offers two IEEE Std 1394a-2000 compliant cable ports operating at 100M Bits/s, 200M Bits/s, and 400M Bits/s.
It features a 1.8-V core logic and 3.3-V I/O cells with an internal voltage regulator to generate 1.8-V core VCC. The PCI4510RGVF is compatible with 3.3-V and 5-V PCI signaling environments and supports PCI burst transfers up to 132-MBps. It is supplied in a 224-NFBGA package and is designed for surface mounting.
Key interface standards supported include PCI Local Bus Specification Revision 2.2, PC 98/99 and PC2001, and Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) Specification 2.0. Power-down features are included to conserve energy in battery-powered applications, such as automatic device power down during suspend and ultralow-power sleep mode.
