The PC725V is a high-sensitivity photocoupler manufactured by NA, designed for applications requiring high collector-emitter voltage and high current transfer ratio. It features a maximum collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 300V and a maximum collector current (IC) of 150mA. The device also provides a high isolation voltage of 5000Vrms between input and output.
With a typical forward voltage of 1.2V at 10mA and a minimum current transfer ratio (CTR) of 1000% at 1mA, the PC725V is suitable for various applications. These include telephone sets and exchangers, power apparatus switchboards, numerical control machines, and DC-DC SSRs and DC motor controllers.
The operating temperature range for this component is -25°C to +100°C, with a storage temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The photocoupler is available in a through-hole package, with options for lead forming and taping reels.
Key electrical characteristics include a low collector dark current of maximum 1μA at 200V VCE and an input capacitance of 30pF typical at 1kHz. The PC725V is recognized by UL and TUV (VDE0884) approved types are also available.
