The JST PAP-02V-S is a 2-position, single-row receptacle housing with a 2.00mm pitch, part of the PA family of connectors. This housing is designed for wire-to-board applications using female socket crimp contacts. It features a latch lock fastening mechanism for secure mating and is free hanging (in-line) mounted, making it suitable for internal wiring in compact electronic devices.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 3A and a voltage rating of 250V AC/DC. Contact resistance is 10mΩ maximum initial, and 20mΩ maximum after environmental tests. Insulation resistance is 1000MΩ minimum, and the housing withstands 1500V AC for one minute. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C.
The housing accepts wire sizes AWG #20 to #24 and is compatible with a 1.6mm PC board thickness. It is available in natural color (uncolored). The component is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
