The P6SMBJ170CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for overvoltage protection in general-purpose applications. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W under a 10/1000µs waveform, with a maximum clamping voltage of 234V. The device features a very fast response time of less than 1ns, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients.
This TVS diode is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AA (SMB) package, with a junction temperature range of -50°C to 150°C. It is supplied on tape and reel with a standard quantity of 3000 pieces per reel. The part is RoHS compliant and has an MSL rating of Level 1.
