The P6SMB62CA is a 600W peak pulse power transient voltage suppression diode from the Littelfuse P6SMB series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. Its bidirectional configuration provides protection for both positive and negative voltage transients.
The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 53V and a maximum clamping voltage of 85V at a peak pulse current of 7.2A (10/1000μs waveform). With a typical response time under 1ps, it offers fast clamping. It also provides IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV air and contact discharge.
Ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications. The low profile DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package minimizes PCB space usage.
The device is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free, with matte tin lead-free plating. It meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020 and is UL recognized. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
