This is a surface-mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Vishay's P6SMB series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lightning. The device is unidirectional with a single channel.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 376V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 440V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 602V. It can handle 600W peak pulse power with a 10/1000 μs waveform and a peak pulse current of 1A. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
The diode is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) package, suitable for automated placement. It features a glass passivated chip junction and meets MSL level 1. The part is RoHS-compliant and halogen-free (M3 suffix). Applications include general purpose protection in consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication equipment.
