The P6SMB400CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse's P6SMB series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It offers a peak pulse power rating of 600W under a 10/1000μs waveform, with a reverse standoff voltage of 342V and a nominal breakdown voltage of 400V. The clamping voltage is 548V at a peak pulse current of 1.1A. The device features a fast response time of typically less than 1.0ps and can withstand ESD pulses up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2.
This TVS diode is suitable for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications. It is packaged in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with matte tin lead-free plating. The device is RoHS compliant, halogen free, and meets MSL level 1. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
