The P6SMB400A is a 600W unidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 342V and a maximum clamping voltage of 548V at 1.1A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). Built with Zener technology, it provides fast response time typically less than 1.0ps.
The device is suitable for general-purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus, telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and comes in a surface-mount DO-214AA (SMB) package. The package is optimized for minimal PCB space impact and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020.
