The P6SMB30A is a 600W peak pulse power TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 25.6V and a maximum clamping voltage of 41.4V at 14.7A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform).
This unidirectional device offers fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage. It provides ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact discharge) per IEC 61000-4-2. Typical reverse leakage current is 1µA at rated standoff voltage.
The P6SMB30A is housed in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package and is RoHS3 compliant, halogen free, and Pb-free E3. It meets MSL level 1 and UL 497B recognition for data communications protection. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
