The P6SMB27A is a 600W peak pulse power TVS diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It is unidirectional with a reverse standoff voltage of 23.1V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 25.65V. The clamping voltage is 37.5V at a peak pulse current of 16.3A (10/1000µs waveform). This device offers fast response time typically less than 1.0ps. It is suitable for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The P6SMB27A is surface mounted in a DO-214AA (SMB) package with matte tin lead-free plating. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and has a storage temperature range of -65°C to 175°C. The device is halogen free and RoHS compliant per the datasheet.
