The P6SMB24CA is a 600W bidirectional TVS diode from the P6SMB series by Littelfuse. It provides transient voltage protection with a reverse standoff voltage of 20.5V and a clamping voltage of 33.2V at 18.4A peak pulse current (10/1000μs waveform). The device features Zener technology with a single bidirectional channel, offering excellent clamping capability and low incremental surge resistance. Typical leakage current is less than 1μA. It meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV air and contact.
The diode is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package with matte tin lead-free plating. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen free, and UL recognized with flammability rating V-0. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
This TVS diode is suitable for general purpose protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. Fast response time typically less than 1.0ps ensures rapid clamping of transients.
