The P6SMB220A is a unidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W (10/1000µs waveform) with a clamping voltage of 328V at 1.9A peak pulse current. The reverse standoff voltage is 185V, and the device responds in less than 1 ps. This diode is intended for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package, operates from -55°C to 150°C, and is Halogen free and Pb-free (E3) as per the datasheet.
