The P6SMB200A-E3/52 is a 600W surface-mount TransZorb transient voltage suppressor diode from Vishay General Semiconductor. It features a Zener technology unidirectional design with a clamping voltage of 274V and a peak pulse current rating of 2.2A under a 10/1000 μs waveform. The device is designed for general-purpose protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lightning.
This TVS diode offers excellent clamping capability and very fast response time. It is housed in a low-profile DO-214AA (SMB) package with matte tin plated leads, suitable for automated placement. The operating temperature range spans -65°C to 150°C (junction). The part is RoHS3 compliant and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020.
Typical applications include sensitive electronics protection in consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication systems. The device is not intended for power line protection.
