The P6KE82CA is a 600W peak pulse power bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 70V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 78.6V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 146V at the peak pulse current of 27A (8/20µs waveform). The device offers a typical capacitance of 275 pF at 1 MHz.
This TVS diode is suitable for general purpose applications where protection against lightning-induced surges and other transient events is required. It has a fast response time of less than 1 ps and can handle peak forward surge currents up to 100A (8.3ms). The operating temperature range spans from -55°C to 175°C.
The P6KE82CA is housed in a DO-15 (DO-204AC) axial leaded package, suitable for through-hole mounting. The terminals are matte tin lead-free plated. The device is rated for steady state power dissipation of 5W at lead temperature of 75°C.
