The P6KE68A is a 600W transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features a standoff voltage of 58V and a clamping voltage of 121V, with a peak pulse current rating of 33A (8/20µs waveform).
The device offers a fast response time of less than 1.0 ps from 0 Volts to breakdown voltage minimum, and a typical capacitance of 625 pF at 1 MHz. It is unidirectional and does not include power line protection.
