The P6KE62CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from the P6KE series, designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning and other surge events. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W (10/1000μs waveform) and a clamping voltage of 85V, it provides effective overvoltage protection. The device features a fast response time of less than 1.0ps and supports ESD protection up to 30kV air and contact per IEC 61000-4-2.
This diode operates over a wide junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C, with a steady state power dissipation of 5W. Its thermal resistance is 20°C/W junction-to-lead and 75°C/W junction-to-ambient. The part is housed in a through-hole DO-15 (DO-204AC) package with axial leads, suitable for automated or manual assembly.
