The P6KE62A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse stand-off voltage of 53 V and a maximum clamping voltage of 85 V at a peak pulse current of 7.1 A. The device can handle 600 W of peak pulse power dissipation under a 10/1000 µs waveform.
This TVS diode offers a fast response time of less than 1.0 ps from 0 V to breakdown voltage and provides ESD protection up to 30 kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2. It is housed in a through-hole DO-204AC (DO-15) axial leaded package with matte tin plated leads, suitable for high temperature reflow soldering up to 260°C.
Typical applications include protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The device is halogen free and RoHS compliant.
