The P6KE36A-E3/73 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Vishay's TRANSZORB family. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 30.8 V and a maximum clamping voltage of 49.9 V at a peak pulse current of 12 A (10/1000 µs waveform). The device can handle 600 W of peak pulse power and is designed for general-purpose protection against voltage transients.
This TVS diode uses a glass passivated chip junction for reliability and offers very fast response time. It is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications and the molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
